The EURL-MN competences includes all metals, other elements, and nitrogenous compounds in both feed and food. One of the core tasks of the EURL-MN is to organise proficiency testing schemes for the appointed National Reference Laboratories (NRLs) within its area of competence. Furthermore, the EURL-MN supports and provides scientific and technical advice to the European authorities and the NRLs.
