Determination of inorganic arsenic in feed and food by HPLC-ICPMS
14-16 May 2024
The training focused on the two CEN methods EN 16802:2016 (Determination of inorganic arsenic in foodstuffs of marine and plant origin by anion-exchange HPLC-ICP-MS) and EN 17374:2020 (Determination of inorganic arsenic in animal feed by anion-exchange HPLC-ICPMS). The training included both theoretical and practical sessions.
Learning objectives
Introduction to the determination of inorganic arsenic in feed and food by HPLC-ICP-MS. The participants were expected to gain enough knowledge to be able to set up the methodology in their own laboratory following the training. The training consisted of both theoretical and practical sessions focused on the two CEN methods EN 16802:2016 (Determination of inorganic arsenic in foodstuffs of marine and plant origin by anion-exchange HPLC-ICP-MS) and EN 17374:2020 (Determination of inorganic arsenic in animal feed by anion-exchange HPLC-ICP-MS).
